Name's Hex and I'm mostly on Dreamwidth for meta-fandom talk and to comment on people's journals and in communities.
I've tried in the past to keep my blogging totally or partially on dw but I never quite managed to settle on what should belong on here and what on one of the (many) other platforms I was on. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I ended up with some form of platform fatigue from my thoughts being spread all over: I've decided one of my 2024 is to centralize my digital life a bit more, particularly by using my personal website. So in the name of digital minimalism I'm overhauling my dreamwidth usage once again and moving away from my old account (2015, whew!) while doing so.
I'm not dead-set yet on which updates, if any, people might see here, but if anything shows up it'd likely be a monthly link/recap post of sorts. I also figured I wasn't staying up to date with all the journals I followed because I needed to actively think about opening the reading page and since dw offers RSS, I'm moving all my subscriptions to my RSS reader.
My only request is that you don't mention my previous name/username, if you happen to know/remember it! Enjoy your stay✨
